Evanston Police to charge person of interest in Dajae Coleman case

Evanston Police announced this morning an arrest relating to the Dajae Coleman case.

CBS Chicago reported that Wesley Woodson appeared at the Skokie Courthouse this morning, where he was charged with murder and denied bond. EPD Cmdr. Jay Parrott could not be reached to confirm the suspect’s name or charges.

Police have scheduled a briefing for 1 p.m. at the Evanston Fire Department, 909 Lake St., at which time charges and an arrest photo will be made public, according to the release.
