Evanston boy mugged while walking home Three teens allegedly robbed an Evanston boy early Saturday morning. The three teens, whom the boy knows personally, reportedly struck him several times near the corner of Ridge Avenue and Greenwood Street, said Evanston Police Department spokesman Cmdr. Jay Parrot. They also allegedly stole his wallet containing $60 and an iPhone 4S. The boy did not receive medical attention, Parrott said. Laptop, other items stolen from locked car A burglar allegedly broke into a locked car sometime between Monday and early Tuesday. The burglar allegedly stole a Dell laptop, camera equipment and a duffel bag from a car in the Church Street Self Park garage, 525 Church St., Parrott said.
