Weinberg juniors Matt Larsen and Katie Amys will be the 2013 executive co-chairs of Northwestern’s Dance Marathon, the organization announced Friday.
DM spokesperson Maura Brannigan said DM’s executive co-chairs for the next school year are asked to apply by the organization’s current co-chairs. Those who are asked are either junior members on the DM executive board, or other NU juniors who have greatly participated in the organization’s events and committees. After they receive all applications, the current co-chairs vote for their successors.
Larsen previously served as the finance co-chair for DM 2012, and Amys was a member of the DM marketing and dancer relations committees in the past year.
