Man arrested after stealing teeth whiteners
Evanston Police charged a man in connection with retail theft Wednesday.
A security agent at Jewel-Osco, 2485 W. Howard St., saw the 44-year-old use five packets of teeth whiteners in succession and walk out without paying, Cmdr. Jay Parrott said.
The man will appear in court March 1.
Locker theft at LA Fitness
A Chicago resident reported his wallet stolen from a locked locker at LA Fitness, 1618 Sherman Ave., on Thursday.
The man lost several debit and credit cards and $60, Parrott said. Similar instances occur at least once a week at the gym, he added.
