Party Preview: College Humor Live

A&O Presents College Humor LIVE

Several comedians from the legendary website CollegeHumor are performing tonight from 7:30 to 10:30 in Cahn Auditorium (600 Emerson St.). This is the second installment of the A&O Productions Winter Speaker Series. Tickets are still on sale through the Norris Box Office for $10. For every ticket purchased, $1 of will be donated to Dance Marathon.

Doors open at 6:30. The updated lineup is as follows: Jake Hurwitz, Streeter Seidell, Dan Gurewitch and Anthony Jeselnik. The Facebook event says, “College Humor has become known for (its) original short films and sketches, some of which include prominent celebrities. Now College Humor has hit the road and comes at you live with a hilarious mix of standup and videos.” Communication senior and A&O member Stefanie Goliszewskisays, “It’s going to be a lot of fun. We are trying to bring someone to Northwestern that everyone likes.”

Three Days of Rain

The play “Three Days of Rain” will be held three nights this weekend – tonight at 8 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. – in Shanley Pavilion (2031 Sheridan Rd.). Tickets are $5 for students, but $4 tonight for Dance Marathon participants.

The Facebook event says, “‘Three Days of Rain’ is a story about a long lost brother returning home, a young stuttering architect falling in love and the impossible desire to know who our parents actually are.” “Three Days of Rain” was produced by Communication senior Kelsey Melvin and directed by Communication senior Will Crouse. “This play features three great senior actors,” publicity director and Weinberg senior Katharine Nasielski said. “Everyone should definitely come out because we’re expecting a good turnout.”
