National Novel Writing Month Write-In at the library

The Evanston Public Library Main Branch will host a write-in for National Novel Writing Month on Friday at 2 p.m. The event, which will take place at the Loft in the Main Library, is open to everyone who registered for the National Novel Writing Month, or the NaNoWriMo challenge.

The write-in will include food and is intended to encourage those who took on the challenge to finish their novels by bringing all participants together.

NaNoWriMo takes place every year during the month of November. It challenges participants to write a novel in just 30 days, with a word-count goal of 50,000 for adult participants. There is also a Young Writers Program from participants age 17 and younger that allows participants to set their own goals.
