Patrons of the Evanston Public Library can now check their e-mail a little bit faster.
The library, located at 1703 Orrington Ave., has upgraded both its wireless connection and its computers, according to a news release from the city. Laptops will be able to connect to the Internet more quickly and will drop their connections less frequently, while patrons using library computers will have 25 new PCs to work on.
