Cause still unknown in Chicago Avenue alley couch fire

Evanston Police responded to a fire at 2:30 a.m. Saturday on the 700 block of Chicago Avenue, Guenther said.

A citizen called the fire department about the east alley fire. A couch was identified as the source of the fire, but the cause remains unknown, Guenther said.

No one was injured and the fire was extinguished without complications.
