Someone stole electronics from an Evanston resident’s home Thursday, police said.

The suspect entered the house on the 2300 block of Emerson Street by breaking a window panel next to the back door, then reaching in and unlocking the door, Evanston Police Cmdr. Tom Guenther said. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the house and stole a Panasonic television and two Dell laptops.
