Hyperventilating NU student in Tech sent to hospital
Police sent a hyperventilating Northwestern student from the Technological Institute, 2145 Sheridan Road, to the hospital Wednesday, police said.
Officers responded to a call at about 5:30 p.m. regarding a student who required medical assistance, University Police Deputy Chief Dan McAleer said.
Upon arrival they found he was having difficulty breathing and called the fire department, who concluded the student required further medical attention due to hyperventilation. The student was taken to Evanston Hospital.
