A man stole the tip jar from a Starbucks on Monday morning, police said.
A barista was making a drink for a customer at Starbucks, 2438 Main St., when another man came up to the counter and took the tip jar, Evanston Police Cmdr. Tom Guenther said.
He put the jar under his coat and walked out of the store. The jar contained approximately $20, Guenther said.
