Someone stole money from a woman’s purse Thursday morning, police said.
The woman had locked her purse inside a cabinet in her office, and when she checked on it a few hours later, she found a $20 bill missing, Evanston police Cmdr. Tom Guenther said.
Similar incidents have been going on at the same office for a few months, Guenther said. The same woman reported that someone had stolen $50 from her before.
There are currently no suspects.
