Updated May 27, 2:20 p.m.Students who joined the “Bring Mike Posner for Dillo Day” effort on Facebook will get their wish: the hip-hop artist will perform at Dillo Day.
Posner’s confirmation was first announced on the Mayfest Twitter page Wednesday morning.
The Duke University student will perform at 4 p.m. after The Decemberists’ 1:30 to 3:30 set, Mayfest Co-chair Diana Richter said in an e-mail.
More than 680 students joined a Facebook event to encourage Mayfest to bring Posner to campus, THE WEEKLY reported.
