A vendor at the Fountain Square Arts Festival in downtown Evanston reported that a suitcase containing $25,000 in assorted jewelry was stolen Sunday.The 67-year-old Indianapolis resident and his wife were loading their vehicle after the downtown festival – which ran from June 23 to 24 – with their black nylon suitcase out of their sight. When the couple returned, they discovered the suitcase was missing, Elliot said.The incident, which occurred at about 7 p.m., is being investigated, he said.
