With all of the organizations on campus and so groups starting up almost daily, it can be hard to find where you fit. Multicultural organizations are a place to blend your extracurricular interests and passions with cultural roots. Below are just a few of the options available to NU students.The DepartmentsNU’s Multicultural Student Affairs program has three separate departments, each with their own director: African American Student Affairs, Asian/ Asian American Student Affairs and Hispanic/Latino Student Affairs. These offices are where most of the multicultural organizations hold meetings and host events. The buildings also are a place for students to hang out, study and do research in the computer labs. The houses have work study positions available.Student AssociationsStudent associations meet the needs of their cultural community as well as to educate other communities about specific cultural backgrounds.
