UPD officers escorted a woman out of a luncheon held in Norris University Center Saturday for alleged disorderly conduct.A Norris staff member called UPD around 2 p.m. because she suspected a woman in attendance was attempting to steal pieces of a place setting while she ate a meal in the Louis Room, according to McAleer.Police requested the woman leave the luncheon, McAleer said, at which time she said she needed to use the restroom. After an officer escorted her to the restroom, he saw that she had a cloth napkin bulging from her purse, McAleer said. The woman admitted that the napkin belonged to NU and returned it along with silverware, he said.The officer then escorted her to her car and instructed her not to return to campus, McAleer said. The woman was not charged with a crime.
