Northwestern’s game with Chicago State was canceled because of Chicago State’s scheduling conflicts. No makeup date has been scheduled at this time.
The teams were originally slated to play April 4, but the game was postponed because of bad weather.
The Wildcats (13-32) next take the field Tuesday, when they host Horizon league foe Illinois-Chicago at Rocky Miller Park. After splitting last weekend’s four-game series with Minnesota, the Cats will look to continue their winning ways against the Flames (26-16).
The two squads last met on May 9 of last year, when Illinois-Chicago shellacked NU, 23-5. It was the Cats’ worst loss of the season.
