We start this week’s NBA Notes with a story: Once upon a time, there was a team. This team, um, struggled through a season and “earned” the NBA’s worst record.
But it wasn’t all bad. This team had a good chance of winning the draft lottery (or at least getting second), and snagging one of two supposedly sure-thing players.
