Redshirt freshman Andrew Brewer will return to the offensive lineup Saturday – only this time he will be catching passes instead of throwing them.
Brewer, who originally began the season as the No. 2 quarterback, completed just 31 of 65 passes for 310 yards while filling in for injured redshirt freshman quarterback Mike Kafka during Northwestern’s first three Big Ten games. He also failed to throw a touchdown pass during his time under center.
