Angela Lansbury is back and not about to solve another murder. The four-time Tony Award winner is set to star in Terrence McNally’s Deuce, a drama opening this spring.

She will be joined by fellow Tony winner Marian Seldes. The two will play retired tennis players who once made up a championship team. Deuce will begin previews in April 2007 at the Music Box Theatre and is scheduled to open officially May 6.

Telly Leung, who originated the role of Boq in the sit-down production of Wicked in Chicago, will join Rent on Broadway in November. He will play “Steve and others” in the Jonathan Larson musical and will also understudy the role of Angel.

In other Broadway news, Brian D’Arcy James and Kristin Chenoweth (yes, she’s Wicked!) have been cast opposite one another in a November workshop of Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan’s musicalization of Young Frankenstein. James will play Dr. Frankenstein, Chenoweth will play Elizabeth, the good doctor’s fianc
