Diego Ramos Bechara, Web Editor and A&E Assistant Desk Editor
Diego is a Medill sophomore from Bayamón, Puerto Rico. He’s currently both a Web Editor and Assistant Editor for the Arts and Entertainment Desk. He began working for The Daily Northwestern as a DEVO during the winter quarter of his freshman year. In the spring quarter of that same year, he was the Assistant Editor for the Arts and Entertainment Desk, but he also loves to cover campus event stories, city features and NU alumni, especially those involved in literature and the entertainment industry. Diego also has an interest in broadcast journalism; he’s the Associate Producer of the Northwestern News Network, which he’s anchored in the past, and was a Social Media Producer last spring. Around campus, Diego can be found giving campus tours, running the Office of Undergraduate Admission’s social media accounts, as well as performing in student theatre! Diego’s favorite musical artists are composer Hans Zimmer, Queen, Twenty One Pilots and Coldplay.
