Northwestern concluded its 2025 season with a 34-7 victory in the GameAbove Sports Bowl versus Central Michigan. Junior wide receiver Griffin Wilde was named the game’s Most Valuable Player for his 10-catch, 97-yard and two-touchdown performance.

The Wildcat (7-6, 4-5 Big Ten) defense forced turnovers on three consecutive drives, jumpstarting the offense and putting the game out of reach. Friday’s win marks coach David Braun’s second bowl victory in his three years leading the program.
