The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cook County Wednesday. The outlook is set to last through Dec. 9.
Evanston is expected to experience wind chill levels between -10 and -15 degrees Fahrenheit from the night of Dec. 3 to the morning of Dec. 5, according to NWS.
As temperatures drop below zero in Evanston, facilities serving as warming centers were announced in a city email to residents Wednesday.
