Blotter: Theft at Jewel-Osco, Whole Foods

Evanston Police Department charged a 22-year-old Evanston man with shoplifting. The man allegedly took four bottles of liquor from Jewel-Osco, located at 1128 Chicago Ave.
A store employee reported the theft on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m., Evanston Police Cmdr. Brian Henry said. The liquor was valued at $77.97 from the store.
The man is scheduled to appear in court on July 23 at 9 a.m.
Whole Foods theft
A bottle of alcohol and some food were stolen Tuesday from Whole Foods, located at 1640 Chicago Ave.
The store manager reported the theft to EPD at about 5:22 p.m, shortly after the incident, according to Henry.
The store said the individual should not return to the store. There are no suspects at the time.
