Blotter: Stolen bike valued at $400

A 21-year-old Evanston resident reported Thursday that his bike was stolen in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue.
The man left his bike locked to a light post between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., Evanston police Cmdr. Ryan Glew said. When he returned, the bike and lock were missing.
The bike was valued at $400, Glew said. No suspects have been identified.
Man reports stolen wallet
Police were called to investigate a stolen wallet in the 1300 block of Fowler Avenue on Thursday.
A man in his 30s pushed a 22-year-old man to the ground and took his wallet, Glew said. The wallet contained $7, a state identification card and a Ventra card.
Police have not identified the suspect.
