Police were called to investigate the shooting of two men in the 100 block of Chicago Avenue on Sunday.

Police reported that two males were shot on the sidewalk at about 9:20 p.m. One 18-year-old Chicago man was shot in the thigh and another 21-year-old Chicago man was shot in the back and neck, Evanston police Cmdr. Ryan Glew said. Police found evidence that roughly nine shots were fired at the scene.

The two men were transported to Saint Francis Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Both men were uncooperative with the investigation, Glew said. Police do not currently have a suspect.
