An Evanston resident was arrested on Monday night in connection with a domestic dispute in south Evanston.

The man’s wife stated that he was intoxicated and acting violent, Evanston police Cmdr. Joseph Dugan said. The woman said that her husband’s behavior caused her and her two teenage children to fear being hurt, according to Dugan.

Officers found the man intoxicated and standing in front of the house, located in the 1200 block of Fowler Avenue, Dugan said. No one was injured.

The man was charged with misdemeanor assault.
