A&O Productions and the South Asian Student Alliance announced comedian Chris Gethard on Monday as their spring speaker, according to a news release.

Gethard will headline a stand-up comedy show to be held on May 15 in Lutkin Hall. Gethard, host of “The Chris Gethard Show,” has also appeared in “The Office,” “Parks and Recreation” and “Broad City.” In addition to Gethard, NU comedy group Mee-Ow and student comedian Grace Dowling, a Communication sophomore, will perform, according to a Facebook event.

Gethard starred in the 2016 film “Don’t Think Twice,” which tells the story of an improv group dealing with a member’s big break.

The groups have yet to announce an opener for the event. Sign language interpretation and accessible seating are available upon request if attendees have accessibility concerns, according to the Facebook event.
