Evanston Police Department officers discovered Sunday a man dead in his closet at Albany Care, a mental health care facility located at 901 Maple Ave., police said. Officers are investigating the death as a suicide, police said.

The 43-year-old man, Bobby Burnett, was found in his closet at Albany Care by his roommates, who alerted the police. Burnett was a resident of Albany Care but had been reported missing from the facility Feb. 20, police said.

Burnett’s death is currently being investigated by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, police said.
