$3,950 worth of electronics was stolen from an Evanston home Jan. 4 between 8 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., police said.

An Evanston resident returned to his home in the 800 block of Simpson Street to find a window forced open and his iPad missing, Evanston police Cmdr. Joseph Dugan said.

The 22-year-old also told police two MacBook Pros, a PlayStation 4 and two video game controllers were missing from the home’s living room, Dugan said.
