Three injured in gang-related shooting on Evanston-Chicago border

A gang-related drive-by shooting Tuesday night on the Evanston-Chicago border left three people injured, Chicago police said.
Three men, all documented gang members, were standing on the sidewalk at about 8:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Howard Street when a dark-colored vehicle drove by and shots were fired, police said.
A 39-year-old man was shot in the torso and ankle. A 40-year-old man also suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks and another man, 30, was shot in the ankle.
All three men were transported to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston.
