Evanston police investigated an apparent suicide Monday evening in the 1000 block of Monroe Street, Cmdr. Jay Parrott said, citing preliminary information.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office said an investigator was on the scene.
Parrott said he had no further information Monday evening.
