Associated Student Government announced today the release of Campus Voice, an online platform where students can express opinions and provide suggestions about student life at Northwestern. According to an ASG release, the platform, which will debut at Wednesday night’s Senate meeting, was a major promise made on the ticket of ASG President Victor Shao and Vice President Brad Stewart during last year’s elections.
“During our campaign last year, we asked students to express themselves,” Stewart said in the release. “We promised that we would empower students to have a more active role in their student government. Campus Voice fulfills that goal of engaging with students in a meaningful way.”
Students can access Campus Voice by logging in with their NetIDs. On the platform, they will be able to vote and make commentary on the various ideas presented. ASG representatives plan to look into each suggestion made and work to implement those that are achievable, the release said.
“It is our top priority that ASG becomes a truly representative body where every student feels like their needs are being met,” Stewart said in the release. “Campus Voice connects students to ASG.”
