Despite the unusually warm temperatures and beautiful fall colors covering campus, I have to admit it’s that time of the year again. The dreaded midterm season is upon us, and I personally couldn’t be more excited for it to be over. Yet the two midterms I have this week couldn’t care less about my personal feelings, so I know it’s time to buckle down and get to work. I also know I’m the kind of person who will fall asleep in the library approximately half an hour after getting there, every time. So in order to prevent such an unfortunate occurrence, I turn to my trusty study playlists.
I know a lot of people say classical music is the ultimate study companion, but it often puts me to sleep faster than silence itself. My perfect playlist keeps the tempo upbeat but not distracting, and it’s never complete without a wide variety of genres to keep me perked up yet attentive.
