In theory, I have all the makings of a popular columnist. To put myself in political context, I’m pretty much the JFK of print. And with my second go as a Daily columnist, I’m excited to exercise the opportunity he never had.
Blessed with gifts of humility and integrity, I’m ready to report on the most wholesome of all professions: politics.
But before I start, a bit about me: I’m a cyclist who competes on the national level, (Tour de France style) and I coach several of the country’s best upcoming junior (under 18) talents. In addition to coaching and training, I co-founded Collegiate Cycling News (CCN), a web site dedicated to reporting on collegiate cycling throughout the country. I also write for CX Magazine, a cycling magazine focused on the cyclo-cross niche. When I’m not writing or racing, I like to spend my time reading, cooking and enjoying the outdoors. While it can be a challenge, I often strive to combine all three pursuits.
I look forward to writing and (if this bio hasn’t turned you off!) being read this quarter.
