I’m a senior in Weinberg majoring in English and International Studies and minoring in Political Science. I am from Lexington, MA, where the most exciting event is the day the whole town gets up at 5 AM to watch people dressed up as colonials reenact the Battle of Lexington and Concord. At home I have a beagle, Max, who likes to jump onto the dining table to steal my food and knows how to open the refrigerator. I am of half-Puerto Rican and half-Jewish descent, which seem to cancel each other out because I don’t act like much of either.
I am addicted to all things entertainment and love going to see live music. I also love drinking coffee, quoting Seinfeld episodes that no one’s seen, and eating Andie’s frozen custard. I am involved with Special Olympics and Northwestern Philharmonia on campus. Football games, concerts, and exploring Chicago with friends have been highlights of my time here. One of my greatest accomplishments in college was eating three Chipotle burritos in an hour and fifteen minutes to raise money for Dance Marathon. Although Chicago winters make me wish I was back in Seville, Spain, where I spent fall quarter last year, I can’t imagine life outside Northwestern.
