Seth Meyers will be the Grand Marshal for the Homecoming Parade next month, Northwestern announced Monday afternoon.
The head writer for Saturday Night Live and “Weekend Update” anchor will lead the parade on Oct. 21.
Meyer, who graduated from School of Communication in 1996, got his improv start in NU’s comedy group Mee-Ow. He headlined the White House Correspondent’s Dinner this year and hosted ESPN’s ESPYs Awards.
Last year, the Grand Marshal was chef Bobby Flay and his wife, Stephanie March, who graduated from School of Communication in 1996.
