Evanston Police Department arrested two spa employees and charged them with prostitution at Carnation Spa, 1239 Chicago Ave., Friday following an undercover operation.
After receiving anonymous complaints about the spa regarding illegal sexual conduct, EPD began investigating the business. EPD detectives posed as customers at the spa twice before determining that illegal sexual conduct was being offered and performed, Evanston Police Cmdr. Tom Guenther said.
Police charged employees Angel Zijun Ho, of 5625 N. 44 Winthrop Ave. in Chicago, and Jian Ping Yao, of 2451 W. Howard St. in Chicago, with prostitution. A court date is set for April 28.
