A female Northwestern student was robbed on the 700 block of Foster Street late Tuesday night, police said.
A man was sitting on a porch and when the student walked by, he ran up to her and grabbed her purse. The man then proceeded to get into a car and flee the area. The student was not injured, University Police Cmdr. Darren Davis said.
The subject is described as male, around 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Evanston Police Department.
