University Police respond to five accounts of intoxicated minors
University Police found an unconscious student on the corner of Sheridan Road and University Place early Sunday morning, police said.
The incident was one of five different accounts of drunkenness and intoxication of minors early Sunday morning, University Police Cmdr. Darren Davis said. Police transferred four of the five students to Evanston Hospital, 2650 Ridge Ave.
Although police received each report between approximately 1 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., they said they do not believe that the incidents are connected. Police could not obtain information about where the students consumed the alcohol, Davis said.
The various reports came from Allison Hall, 1820 Chicago Ave.; 1835 Hinman; Elder Hall, 2400 Sheridan Road; and Bobb Hall, 2305 Sheridan Road.
Police referred all five students to the Office of Student Affairs.
