A community service officer reported an insecure exterior door in Elder Hall Monday, police said.
University Police responded to the call around 9 p.m. regarding the unlocked door, McAleer said. After numerous unsuccessful tries, a staff member managed to temporarily secure the door until a locksmith arrived.
Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged in the building.
