The Evanston Fire Department responded to a call about a fire inside Dearborn Observatory on Thursday morning, police said.
An NU staff member pulled a fire alarm inside Dearborn Observatory, 2131 Tech Drive, after seeing an electrical outlet on fire inside one of the rooms, McAleer said. By the time the fire department arrived at the scene, the fire had put itself out. Facilities Management repaired the outlet.
