Library to host brainstorming session for city harmony
The Evanston Public Library invites teens and adults to a Nov. 20 brainstorm on creating total harmony within the city by 2020.
The library will team up with PeaceAble Cities Evanston to host the event, which will strive to make sure “all relationships in families, schools, businesses and neighborhoods are rooted in respect and kindness,” according to the library’s website.
The brainstorming session will run from 9 a.m. to noon in the Community Meeting Room, and movies relating to social justice will screen afterwards in the same room from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. as part of the 2011 Peace on Earth Film Festival Preview.
Participants must register at epl.org or by calling (847) 448-8630.
