Forbes has ranked Northwestern as the No. 1 college in the Midwest.

The University of Chicago took second place, followed by Carleton, Kenyon, Notre Dame and Wabash.

The business publication’s rankings are based on student satisfaction, postgraduate success, student debt, four-year graduation rate and competitive awards.

In August, Forbes also ranked Northwestern as 18th best college in the U.S. with the same factors.
