The Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 Ridge Ave., will host a film screening Friday about the country’s religious-environmental movement.
“Renewal,” produced and directed by Marty Ostrow and Terry Kay Rockefeller, tells the story of environmental activists as they apply to different religious traditions. The film is the second in a movie screening series covering social issues. The film will start at 7 p.m., and there is a suggested donation of $5.
The next movie in the screening will be “The Cats of Mirikitani,” the tale of an 80-year-old World War II internment camp survivor.
