A man died from fatal gunshot wounds Thursday night, police said.
Marcus Davis was picking up his car from Smitty’s Garage, 1422 Dodge Ave., around 10 p.m. when a gunman came up to the driver’s window and fired multiple shots into the car, killing Davis, Guenther said in a news release.
Someone was in the car with Davis but that person was not injured, according to the news release.
The motive is still under investigation as of Friday afternoon, Guenther told The Daily. He said he cannot say whether or not police have a description of the gunman.
According to the news release, they had no suspects in custody as of Friday morning.
