Feinberg takes lead on national stem cell research trial

Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine will be the lead site in a national research trial using human embryonic stem cell therapy to treat spinal cord injury. The study is the first of its kind ever to be conducted and is sponsored by Geron Corporation. Six other sites will eventually be added to the study.
