Guster will be the night headliner for Mayfest’s Dillo Day on May 29. The announcement was made Sunday night at the Mulan singalong on Norris University Center’s East Lawn.
Guster started at Tufts University in 1992 as Gus and became Guster in 1995, according to its website. Self-described as “acoustic pop,” the band is no stranger to Northwestern: they played The Riviera on April 19, 2005.
Guster’s popular hit “Amsterdam” spent 15 weeks on Billboard’s charts in 2003, topping out at No. 20.
