City of Evanston luminaries and Northwestern notables came together Tuesday to welcome University President Morton O. Schapiro and his family at a reception held at Boocoo Cafe, 1823 Church St. The president and his wife Mimi attended, along with Northwestern administrators including University Spokesman Al Cubbage and Senior Vice President for Business and Finance Eugene Sunshine. Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl, former Mayor Lorraine Morton, City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz, City Council members and a host of other Evanston officials were also in attendance.
