Indie rock band Ted Leo and the Pharmacists will be joining Common at Dillo Day 2008, Mayfest officials confirmed Thursday. Mayfest received a finalized contract Wednesday.
The act will be funded by College Democrats, with whom Mayfest organizers collaborated to bring the band to campus. Mayfest members approached College Democrats in early March after hearing that the group had wanted to bring Ted Leo to campus, then made an offer to the band.
The group did not announce the three other acts that will play on Dillo Day.
Financial details have not been finalized.
